Dose:
Adults: 25-2000 mcg tablets taken daily or 30 mcg injection under the skin and muscle of vitamin B12 every day for 5-10 days followed by a maintenance dose of 100-200 mcg vitamin B12 injection once a month
Children: 0.5-3 mcg tablets to drink every day or injection of vitamin B12 0.2 mcg/kg once a day for 2 days followed by injection of 1000 mcg every day for 2-7 days then 100 mcg once a week for 4 weeks.
